Hello,
If there is a word like "truda" (though in reality there is no such word in English), how will native speakers of English pronounce it? Does the "u" sound like "ue" in "true" or "u" in "rush" or "luck"? Why? Can you tell me about the rule?

The "u" would be long, pronounced as in "true" or "due." If you want to make it shourt, pronounced as in "thud" or "mud," you have to double the consonant: "trudda." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
