Hello friends and teachers,

we all know that there's a movie called"million dollar baby". Seeing this name, I can't help thinking of another phrase I saw on a magazine which I don't know about.
What does"I feel a millions dollars "mean?

Thanks a lot every body!! Very Happy

The phrase is "feel like a million dollars" or "feel like a million bucks" or just "feel like a million." You can also look like a million bucks.

A million bucks is a lot of money, and everyone would like to have a million bucks. Even Bill Gates would stop to pick up a million dollars.

It's a good thing. If you look or feel like a million, that's pretty good.

You are certainly welcome, Onlinekate, but remember: It is not "I feel a million," but "I feel like a million."

(Sometimes people try to be funny. They will say, "You look like a million dollars . . . all green and wrinkled." U.S. currency is green on the back, and the bills are sometimes called "greenbacks." So a million would be all green and wrinkled. Try this joke on a friend!)
