Dear Teachers,
1. I often go to the cinema on Tuesdays.
- This means I just go there to see a movie, right?
2. I often go to the theater on Saturdays.
- This means I just go there to see concerts, comedy, or musical, right?
3. Shes so behind the times.
- Shes so old-fashioned.
- Which sentence is more common?
Thanks a million to Teachers,

1. Yes.
2. Yes, or a movie. Sometimes the place where movies are shown is called a theater or a movie theater.
3. I'm not sure which one is more likely to be said. "Behind the times" may mean unaware of all the modern trends and gadgets without necessarily being old fashioned, by the way. It can even mean ignorant of the latest news or gossip. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
