I do not understand a joke below. Please help me.

A man pulled up next to a little girl walking home from school and said "If you get in, I'll give you a lollypop." The girl kept walking.

Following along slowly, the man said "Come on and get in the car with me and I'll give you two lolly pops." She kept her eyes on the sidewalk and continued on her way.

The man said "Get in with me and I'll give you this whole bag of lollypops!" Finally, the girl turned and said "Look daddy, YOU bought the Ford, YOU ride in it!!!"

.
1-- We expect the man in the car to be a child molester, not her father.
2-- The daughter does not like Ford automobiles (and this may reflect a wider dislike among the American populace).

Does that help?

The girl deosn't want to be seen in an uncool car. It would be different if it were a Ferrari.

Or the girl may just be partial to Chevrolets. For some reason, Ford owners and Chevy owners are fiercely loyal to their favorite make of car. I have seen bumper stickers saying:

[On a Chevy]: "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Fords." (A variation on the slogan "Friends don't let friends drive drunk.")

[On a Ford]: "I Would Rather Push a Ford Than Drive a Chevy."

Of course, Ford owners know all about pushing their cars.
