1...*flutter of heart*..
sorry for the lack of contexts, what sorts of emotion can that be?

2 is there an adjective that means "not as rich, but with enough money "? i want to use it to describe the financial status of a family.

3handbill

Definition:

printed sheet of paper: a small sheet of paper with a notice or advertisement printed on it, distributed by hand

how is that different from coupon?

Thanks

1. When something thrilling or exciting happens, when you unexpectedly see the person you have a crush on, your heart flutters, beats fast but shallow. So you see Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt on the street and your heart flutters.

2. If you have enough, you are comfortable or comfortably off, as opposed to rich, wealthy, or well off. You could say, "They are not the Rockefellers, but they are doing all right / they aren't hurting for money / they are comfortably off."

3. A coupon is a printed advertisement that generally allows the person to get a discount on some products. A handbill might advertise a rock concert or some public event with no discount at all.

I think a handbill is also referred to as a flyer.

msdaredevil - the phrase is 'heart flutter'. i have never heard of a 'flutter of heart' before. also, there is also a medical condition for a heart flutter - some types of medication will cause a heart flutter. i have had it happen to me in the past and it is very scary. it is a good reason to call your physician and have your medication changed to a different kind. just so you know...iitimone7
