What about *I'm between schools* and *I'm in between schools*?

I'm between schools = means that you have stopped going to one school and you will begin attending a different school.

I'm in between schools = means the same thing. When this particular sentence is spoken in this way, it can also mean that there are two schools next to each other and you are standing next to school A on one side of you and school B on the other side of you.
