1. You want "but" here, since you have two independent clauses joined together. "However" is all right, but then you would write it: "Walt Whitman's poetry was not appreciated during his own time; however, it is widely admired today."
2. The word should be "liberty," which means freedom. "Liberality" refers to generousness. It's nice, but it's not what the war was fought for. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
