Hello smallcat -

Don't go anywhere to "STUDY" English.

How many years have you studied?

Pack your backpack, buy an English guide book (ie. Lonely Planet) and a ticket to some S/E Asian destination (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.). Go alone!! Follow the guide and you will have to speak English everyday.

You will spend less money, make lots of new friends from different countries and practice using your English skills more than in some language class.

P.S. - Don't tell your parents you got this advice from Philo! :)

Thanks for ur advices.

But I have to learn E for working. I can't go every where because I don't have a time. After studing E at a short time, I will come back and have to work. Sorry!!! My parents won't give me money to travel.

take philo's advice - if you need to learn english for work, you don't have to go far. taking a train, tram, whatever, should not be much $$ - earn it yourself and go!! you'll only learn to speak better english by doing it - a textbook will only help you a little.

Great idea with the backpacking. You should do a bit of both.

Study in NZ or Australia - which are closer to Vietnam and much cheaper than the UK. Once you have a good basic understanding then go travelling in an English speaking country or a country with a lot of english speaking travellors (and English speaking locals) such as Thailand.

Hi worldclass!!!

I know what u said, but The AU embassy doesn't accept students go to abroad have just studied E. U are allowed to study a main course ( u have to have IELTS 5.0+). If u aren't sure about ur E, u can attend an E class.

First I want to improve my E is better. Then I may be get Finance & Banking Master degree. Does any body know which school is good? How's about fee of this course?

Thanksxxx.

(I think my E is not good, everybody don't laugh)

If you know that your E skill is pretty good , I think you'll choose to go aboard to study . Because , u can improve your E skill better , and it has a better studying English environment in Vietnam .
