Dear Teachers:

I need your help. tonight I watched a funny movie Phat girlz in which a fat black girl is trying to get the bank manager to lend her some money so that she can launch her own clothing line. she says:"Please sir! everyday many big girls like me have a hard time to find trendy clothes, and meanwhile, we can't find a date either. can you believe? I ain't been laid for 9 months! nine long months! think about it! so I need the load! please!"

The banker manager answers:"if you can't find a date, then that's your problem, maybe you can try Jenny Craig."

Listening to his suggestion, this fat girl gets very mad. She catches this manager's wig off and beats him so bad.

Teachers, my question are:
1.what dose the manager mean by Jenny Craig?
2.why is the girl so upset about this suggestion?"

Jenny Craig is the name of a company that sells low-calorie food and exercise programs. The lady in the movie, who needs the loan (not a load!), must be pretty heavy. The bank manager is suggesting that she can't get a date because she is too fat. It's an insult to her, even if she thinks and knows she's fat.

Thank you CP for your help, now I got it.

Since Jenny Graig means some weight-losing diet or exercise, then I think I need to try it too. It's not because I am too fat (actually, I am average: 53kg for 160cm, that's me), it's because I am too lazy, I need more exercise or aerobics by which I can get energic.
