Hi, there!
Look at the following sentences.
I made friends with some tourists in New York.
We visited many places together.
We still exchage emails with each other.
I'd like to ask you about the last sentence.
Is this 'still' grammatically correct?
In my opinion, 'still' is used for existing situations,
so the last sentence should be 'We are still exchanging emails with each other.'
Am I correct?
What do you think?
Instead of using 'still,' what words can be used for the last sentence?
I'm looking forward to your answers.
Thanks. |

.
Still is fine there. I cannot think of a better word.
