Hello, teachers.
Are the following sentences acceptable?
1 "You should think of things from the other's viewpoint."
2 "You should see things in/from the other person's position."
3 "You should put yourself in the positions of others."
(I mean "You should put yourself in other person's shoes.")
Thank you in advance!

To express "You should put yourself in other person's shoes," you can say exactly that -- "You should put yourself in other person's shoes." -- of course. Your sentences:
1 "You should think of things from the other's viewpoint." Not wrong, but I would probably say "from the other person's viewpoint."
2 "You should see things in/from the other person's position." Better would be, "You should try to see things from the other person's perspective."
3 "You should put yourself in the positions of others." Better would be, "You should put yourself in the other person's position." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

Thank you very much for your help, CP-san!
I'm glad to learn that my sentences are not natural.
