Dear Teachers,

1. Is watch your language, buddy! the same meaning as watch your mouth, buddy!?

2. Im out at some festivals enjoying the summer day, maybe watching some al fresco theater.
- What does al fresco theater mean here? Or is it the name of a theater?

Thanks a bunch to Teachers,

Stevenukd

1. Not quite the same. "Watch your language, buddy! means be careful which words you use; don't use the naughty or disrespectful words. "Watch your mouth, buddy! means be careful what you say or who you say it about, even if you use the best language.

Maybe I don't want you to use foul language with all these children around, so I say, "Watch your language, buddy!

Maybe I don't want you to say anything about my girlfriend, even if it is complimentary, so I say, "Watch your mouth, buddy!

2. The term al fresco means in the open air, so this is just an outdoor theater.
