Dear Teachers,
1. I think hes addicted to drugs. And his father has had enough of him.
- his father has had enough of him means his father has stood him enough, right?
2. He isnt the son his father would like to have. His father expects way too much out of him.
- What does His father expects way too much out of him mean here?
Thanks a bunch to Teachers,

1. When you've had enough of someone, you are fed up; you can't take any more of him / her; you don't think you can tolerate any more of his / her nonsense.
2. His father's expectations are far too high; he is not being realistic. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
