Dear Teachers,
1. Youve got to come get me and take me home, please Mama.
- I think to come to get me is better, right? Is this American English? And get me here means pick me up, right?
2. Come on Darling! You must tell me what has you so upset.
- what has you so upset means what makes you so upset, right?
Thanks a lot to Teachers,

2. ". . . what has you so upset" is fine, if a little idiomatic. You will also hear "what has you so worried," "what has you so frightened," "what has you so nervous," and the like. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
