1) Johnny knows all the website where to learn English.
2) Johnny knows all the website teaching English.
Are they correct?
Thank you |

Both are wrong. I would write it as:
Johnny knows all the Web sites that teach English. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

CP, thank you
Would you elaborate a little bit why they are wrong? |

1) Johnny knows all the website where to learn English.
2) Johnny knows all the website teaching English.
Both say "all the website" instead of "all the Web sites." Web sites are countable, so you have to pluralize if you want to use "all." If you want to leave Web site singular, you should use "every": "Johnny knows every Web site that teaches English."
Most people use a capital W for Web site because it refers to the World Wide Web (www), and the capital W distinguishes that web from ordinary webs, like spider webs and webs of lies.
"Where to learn English" is awkward in sentence 1. "Teaching English" is all right in sentence 2, although I prefer "that teach English." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
