I've never heard the expression, but I can guess. Adam was the first man, according to the Bible, and Eve the first woman. If a remark was made to Adam, it must have been made by Eve.
I think this person is saying Eve was the first bore, implying that all women are bores. Not very nice and not even true!

Could it have been the firstborn (first born), rather than first bore? |
