I can't tell the difference between a syllabus, a curriculum, and a timetable.
Can you explain the differences among them with some examples?

Thanks.

In the U.S., a syllabus is the professor's course outline, with the texts, rules, testing schedule, etc. A curriculum is one's own / one's major's collection of courses completed or to be completed. A timetable is a list of departure and arrival times for a plane / train / bus.

This is all relating to a school, right? Like CP said, a syllabus is usually a description of what a particular course or class will cover. A curriculum is usually the entire set of courses that have to be taken, although it can also refer to a single class (in which case it's basically synonymous with syllabus). A timetable is a schedule of when things will take place, like classes (which probably happen at the same time every week) or exams (which are usually only held once!).
