Knocks can be interpreted as difficulties. So the sentence means that you have got a lot of trouble ahead.
It is pretty common to hear knocks used as "the school of hard knocks" which means something to the effect of hard-learned lessons or lessons learned through bitter experience. You should remember this saying when trying to decipher knocks used figuratively.
