1. Is there a word called "sgout" that has something to do with facial expressions?
2.I'm not trying to *dog* someone. But this is what I think...
Something that probably means *protect* *defend*?

1. No word "sgout," nor is there likely to be one beginning "sg" in English. A snout is a nose; otherwise, I can't think of anything that might fit your question.
2. Your guess is logical, because dogs are very protective, but not quite correct. To dog someone means to follow him / her closely (like a dog does) or to criticize him / her (barking?).
