Is "to be" in the following sentence correct (or natural)?

The experience has made her to be a sensitive physician.

Technically it is not incorrect, but for the 'the'.

Experience has made her to be a sensitive physician.

Experience refers to the general concept of the noun, hence no article. If it were to be followed by a descriptive adjective clause, then the article, as in

The experience she earned all these years has made..........

However, Experience has made her a sensitive physician is simpler.

"Experience is the worst teacher. It takes the test before presenting the lesson."
