Dear teachers:
I have a few questions about kindergarten terms.
1. In Taiwan, kids study in the kindergarten for 3 years, and people here call them "Small class, middle class, big class" if I translate them literally from Chinese. How are the classes usually called in an English-speaking country? Are they K-1, K-2, and K-3? Can you give me an example putting the name of the class in a sentence?

2. How do you call the person in charge of the kindergarten? Do you call
him/her the Director, or the Principal?

It really depends on the country, each one has its own school system with different names for the classes (and for the people who run them). Your best bet is to look here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kindergarten and if you want any information about how a specific country does things, mention it and hopefully someone will be able to help.
