I don't wanna talk about political problems here, but I think I have to.
Taiwan is a part of China, as you know.
Taiwan cannot be a single country, because it is too weak, and if it was without china's help, it would not survive.
Taiwan is a province from China in the history, and it still is.

I wanna ask A****Taiwan a question:You speak Chinese, you write in Chinese, how can you say that you are not Chinese? You got balck hair, black eyes, yellow skin, so ARE YOU CHINESE?!
yes you are.
If you wanna be a person who is not chinese, you invent your own language, never speak chinese, DO YOU DARE???
Stop day dreaming!!!

I am not Chinese or Taiwanese, but permit me to answer anyway.

I do not think Taiwan is too weak to survive. In fact, Taiwan has survived DESPITE aggression from China.

I am Canadian, but I speak English, have blue eyes and blond hair. Does that mean I am English and my country is just a province of the UK. Should Canada, USA, NZ or Australia all invent their own languages to prove their independence??

Take care,

Corey

Taiwan is Taiwan, CHINA is CHINA. They are two separate countries, and the CHINA government is a mind controlled bunch of fools.

Taiwan rocks. CHina sucks!

btw, I have written a new global book for a world audience in 25 languages, and it has already been published in Taiwan by Life Potential Publications (October 2003). You can read about it in Chinese at www.tgblife.com.tw and in ENglish at http://www.taiwanho.com/people/dan/index3.htm

If anybody around the world would like to help me bring this book, these two new books, into Korean and Japanese and other languages, please contact me at: [email protected]

It is a book for adults, ages 15-45, global readership. If anyone would like a free copy, mailed by airmail, email me. I planned this as a 25-country book, global readership, reaching out around the world. The current book is in an ENGLISH/cHINESE bilingual format. Other editions elsewhere will be ENglish/YourLanguage format

Hi, I'm Taiwanese.
I can't accede to your viewpoint. Evil or Very Mad
Because we have government ourselves, and our sovereignty is independency.
We are not accept China's help!
You should know your words and ours are different.
We got black hair, black eyes, and yellow skin.
But this all can't represent Taiwan is a part of China.

I can't understand why we can't speak chinese?
Then I want to ask you..
Are you American? Why you use English?!
Please...
Don't talk in sleep!! Rolling Eyes

China; Taiwan; What are these countries really? They are mere lines drawn on the map of the earth. We do not own the earth just as the fleas do not own the dog.
I suspect that a family in China is very much like a family in Taiwan. It is only the government that is different and each, no doubt according to its own ideology, is trying to do the best it can to make its people prosperous and happy.

Taiwan and China are very different contries.
Taiwanese are not weak. They can stand their own power.
I don't understand what you think they're so.

Can i ask you someing?
There's a boy I know can speak and write in Chinese very well and he got blak hair, eyes and yellow skin.
Is he a chinese even his parents are Korean ?

How can you say that they're chinese who can speak and write chinese and got much alike in appreance.

And they seems to be satisfied with their saperation from China. And I don't think that they want to go communist.

Very Happy i'm a chinese!
I agree TW is part of China! But it belongs to all the tw's people, too!
TW is not weak! Because lots of TW's people are every excellent! They build TW by themselves.
But you know, chinese mainland is powerful! if TW is supported by chinese government,it will be developed more quickly!
Of course,American also gave lots of help to TW,other country also can help them. Our teacher told us they want to ruled TW!But i disagree his point,we shouldn't think they have what bad motivation. We believe lots of people are frendly! We love peace!
However foreigners can help tw's people, they still are "foreigner",they won't be your fellowmen!
But chinese of mainland are your kindreds! We have the same forefather!
There is the natural relationship between tw and chinese mainland!
The history is a best attestation!
Whoever, they cannot rule TW! Tw doesn't need any alms!
TW'S people and chinese of mainland can help each other, we should be comilty! No comity,no peace!
( Embarassed I'm sorry about my solecisms)

I'm a chinese. Since i have studied in school, teachers told me that Taiwan was a part of China. So we believe it is ture, it's a fact.
Taiwanese is Chinese, too! We know the history of China. Taiwan is separated in the civil war, so the problem belong to China and Taiwan. Other countries'd better not join into.

I like peace, so i don't like there is a civil war in China.

Now i am studying in other country, so i know if China is not strong, chinese will be look down upon, so come on, Chinese!

I am a Taiwanese. I think we don't need to argue what it is part of China. Taiwanese and Chinese are both good. The question "is Taiwan the part of China?" is goverment made. I agree Chinese area is large , and resources is plentful. But I don't agree Taiwan is weak. We should esteem each other. We should not argue. And we should cooperate. Let Chinese culture enhance and glorify.

I agree that TW is a part of China due to history of Taiwan and China mainland, as well as we have the same blood, language and culture. Although economy of TW is better than that of mainland China, TW can still be benefited from stable development of economy of mainland. A powerful matherland can offer a peaceful and secure environment to people of Taiwan, all of people in Taiwan can benefit from the return of Taiwan.

hi Coral, as you said, you are not a Chinese, therefore you can not understand the Chinese people's feeling about Taiwan. In view of every Chinese, people in Taiwan are our brothers and sisters, as well as Taiwan is even a part of our body such as arms, legs and so on. The issue of Taiwan is not "Strong" or "Weak", but "blood" and "feeling".
