Frist:
Must "a list of + plural nouns" and "a catalog of + plural nouns" always be used with "singular verbs"?
Second:
Can �a list of� and "a catalog of" be used with either singular or plural nouns, too?(like this: a list of it, a list of this week's material, a catalog of this size etc) |

Yes. The simple subject is the singular noun list or catalog and takes a singular verb.
