When "succession" and "sequence" has the same meaning of "series":
Frist:
Can "a succession of" and "a sequence of" always be used with both "plural nouns" and "countable singular nouns"?
Second
Can "a succession of" and "a sequence of" always be used with both "uncountable nouns" and "singular pronouns?
Third
Must "a succession of" and "a sequence of" always be used with "singular verbs"?
Fourth
Give me examples for each, please. |

The phrases are always used with plural nouns. Examples: a succession of failures, a sequence of events

No.

I'd say yes. In most cases, a subject containing "a succession of" or "a sequence of" is singular in meaning.
