hello!
i am planning to travel to italy from january to april.
i would very much appreciate information regarding the following 2 topics:
1. Where can I get information about renting a room in a shared apartment in either milan or florence?
(i.e. online message boards, student centers etc)
and how much should i expect to pay for a room??
2. Does anyone know about a decent and inexpensive language school in either milan or florence where i can study italian??
(6-10 hours a week. the cheaper the better!)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Hi,

I was in Italy on a more permanent basis and was living with a familly so I really don't have any specific info. Generally I can say Milan is a modern city with decent public transportation. The Sforza castle is one of the sites you will probably see. As for schools and living, here are some links for check out:

I beleive these are good schools but be sure to double check and make sure you know what you're getting.

Good luck,

Corey

hi, corey (et al)
thank you for your reply.
how long did you stay in milan?
what about cost of living? is it very expensive? (can you compare it with life in a US city?)
i will definitely follow the links you suggested.
also, i see you are in costa rica. hablo espanol--vivi un anyo y media en barcelona--me gusto muchisima--y unos amigos me han dicho que costa rica es un sitio buenisimo. no ire imediatemente, pero me interesa. das clases de ingles alla? que me cuentas de costa rica? te gusta? hay mucho trabajo alla por profesores de ingles, y como te pagan? bien?
gracias! grazie, and thanks.

AND PLEASE, IF ANYONE HAS MORE INFO ON ITALY, i'd appreciate a note!
