Does the above example make sense? If so, what does it mean? If incorrect, how about the following which I made?
Especially, Id like to know the meaning of so much so that ~ and I wonder if it is a common expression among native speakers.
--- the following ---
A: Were you tired yesterday? B: Yes, so much so that I could not sleep for a few minutes last night.
Thanks. |

The sentence means, "I am so tired that I could sleep for a few minutes last night." That is not logical.
This answer by B makes sense:
A: Are you tired?
B: Yes, so much so that I could fall asleep right now. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
