What does 'laugh at herself' mean?
That means that she despise herself? If so, why is it a talent to despise herself ? Anyway, I can't exactly understand the above quote.

| People generally laugh at other's failings and at other's expense. It takes quite some strength and equanimity to be able to laugh at one's own flaws, and rarely do we come across a person with such a character. |
