In basketball, as in all field sports, one's own goal is at one end of the field and the opponent's goal is at the other. On one end, you play offense, trying to score points. On the other end, you play defense, trying to prevent your opponent from scoring.

By signing Wesley, the Cavaliers, a basketball team, will be stronger (upgraded) on both offense and defense.
