The beauty of the Net is that it's possible to immediately do something without all of the normal b.s.

"B.S." is an abbreviation for "bull s h i t," a crude term meaning nonsense, vexation, trouble, red tape, hassle, annoyance, etc., as well as phoniness, lies, pick-up lines, boastfulness, chutzpah, and ridiculous excuses -- you know, bull s h i t.

You can say B.S. just about anywhere, while saying bull s h i t in polite company is not advisable.

Normal B.S. would be all the B.S. that one encounters in everyday life, all the obstacles to doing what one wants to do immediately. On the Internet, I can find out the population of Qatar in about 10 seconds. At the library, it would take me longer than that to get my shoes on before finding my car keys in order to drive there and look all over the place for the information -- which might not be there after all.
