Although you can use "none" in sentences like these, "no one" is more commonly used, because the reference is to people.
Your sentences 1 and 3 are both acceptable, but not the most natural sounding, and again, "no one" is more likely than "none" there. Someone writing a proper letter to his / her child, perhaps, would word it that way, telling the child that he / she is the only person who would inherit the unnamed thing.
In spoken language, you might say, "There's no one else I can leave this to," or "You are the only one I could leave this to." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
