Excuse me, but for what other reason than "delight" would someone drink wine, beer, or liquor - or even fresh juice, tea, coffee, or soft drinks?

For that matter, for what other reason than delight would anyone put spice in food, or have good sex, or take a walk on a beautiful day?

If someone is foolish and makes bad decisions, I would agree that they probably shouldn't drink alcohol. But I think most rational and mindful people can have a drink, moderate consumption, and have a good time (or maybe a bad time).

Most laws - both civil and religious - are based on a fear that people cannot make good choices on their own. I happen to have more faith in the capacity of human beings to be good people.

Nowadays, Teenagers in Thailand are more interest in the drinking alcohol. Because Thailand has independent to sales alcohol beverage. Alcohol can decrease their potential to learn. The government has 2 policies to decrease alcohol beverage consumption.
First, there is the settlement to alcohol advertisement on the television at all time. Because the advertisement can persuade people to drink alcohol. And the last, There is the policy to limit alcohol sales time and the age of people who can buy alcohol beverage. The limiting time to sale or buy alcohol is between 11 to 2 in the afternoon and after 10 in the evening. Alcohol beverage can only sale to people who is more than 18 years old.
However, the policies seem not to work because there are bars and pubs around the education zone. It persuade student to drink alcohol and it does not have anything to control them. So I think, we should start from the moral of the society first!.

To some teenagers, they think that drinking alcohol is a kind of man behavior which means that theyve already become a man. Besides, family education is very important too, if father and mother are the alcoholics, or dont teach the child in a correct way, it must affect the children directly. Therefore we must remind the teens a correct concept that alcohol is unhealthy to us, we should be avoid of it.

There is no doubt that alcohol is bad for our health in a high dose but if we drink wisely, then I see no further implications..

We drink a lot of alcohol in Poland as it is a kind of tradition and custom. I am aware of the consequences of drinking but can't imagine being an abstinent like most of the Muslims.

According to what chi-kei wrote about the problem with teenage drinkers, I think it seems to be insolvable! Teens have always been drinking booze and they surely will be in the future. That's how it has to be, no regulations, rules or any prohibitions made by the governments would change this situation. The forbidden fruit tastes best, right? Moreover alcohol is often considered by youngsters to be the only solution to their problems and only way to perk them up a bit. Of course I do not agree with this kind of attitude but this is the truth.
