Can we use "herd of" with "indefinite adjectives"?"?(like this: a herd of some cattle, a flock of all chickens etc) |

I don't think so.
A herd is some.. So you can say, for example, he was driving a herd of cattle through the desert. Or, he was driving some cattle through the desert.
It means the same thing.
If you were to use both, it would be tautology.
A flock of all chickens doesn't work, either.
If you say, a flock of chickens, it means they were all chickens. |
