Would you analyze this?
What do you call a werewolf that drinks too much?
A whino! _________________ Hiromichi |

Hiromichi - This is the worst one yet...totally inane. I'm not sure it can even be considered a pun.
- when we think of a werewolf, we would more aptly think of a howl, snarl, or something vicious.
- a whine would make us think more of a puppy left alone.
For it to be a pun, there should be a more easily understood connection between the words (homonyms) being used.
Try this example -
Q- What's the up-town matrons' favorite "wine"?
A- I want a Mercedes! I want a Mercedes!! (wine = whine)
Again, I admire your effort. Philo |

Philo Kevetch, Thank you very much for your reply. I came home today from a trip, so I was late in responding to you. _________________ Hiromichi |
