1-Is that sentence correct??(Did I use neither nor in a correct way?):-
"The archaeologist is looking for more interesting things, neither silver nor copper".
2-Services are rendered to provide family guideness and child welfare.
"Rendered" here means "offered"?
3-We say:"He is a friend of my father's". But we say:"He is the friend of my father".Is that correct?
4- A question in punctuation:
When I write a sentence between quotations.I write the quotation first or the full stop.

Let me try:

1. Correct.
2. Render = to give.
3. He is a friend of my father, not the friend of ....
4. The full stop is inside the quotation marks.

Please correct if I am wrong. Thanks.
