What does "put you out a night" mean?
Q: What do you get if you cross a cat and a gorilla?
A: An animal that puts you out a night! _________________ Hiromichi |

The answer has a mistake. It should be, "An animal that puts you out at night."
If you have a cat, you may put it out at night, that is, let it go outdoors to prowl around and do what cats do all night (they are nocturnal animals).
The joke here is that, if you cross a cat and a gorilla, your pet will be putting you outside at night. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
