Hi,
Is the following sentence correct? Try read this article. Or , do I have to say 'Try to read this article." If try read this article is correct, does that mean it share the same pattern as 'go+verb", and "come+verb"? If so, are there any verbs sharing the same pattern as 'v1+v2' without "to"? Thanks!!

Thank you for your response. I kind of settled my doubt. The reason I asked is because the other day when I googled this sentence-Try read this- and found quite a lot of that usage. That's why I began thinking if it belongs to the pattern of 'go/come+v2'. Here I only list 3 example sentences from the internet I surfed:
1. Awesome Beginner book for linux, March 7, 2004

3. There was some extremely small print on the bottom of the 10 dollars that I could not read, however there was not * or footnote references for a customer to try read this tiny print. .
Be VERY wary of grammar on the internet, Leslie, unless it is on a grammar site.
There are all kinds of people writing on the WWW, and many of them are uneducated, uncareful, or non-native English users.
Here are some more mistakes in the excerpt you posted:
If your the type
who handling
try read
Theres
Try do
Try read
there was not * or footnote references
