| If I say,"I saw that he was running," instead of "I saw him running," is it natural or OK? |

Hi jays,
Both are fine.
1) I saw that he was running.
2) I saw him running.
The second sentence is a simple statement of me seeing him run.
The first sentence has the added connotation of me noticing that he was running - as if it was unexpected or something new.
