Dear Teachers,

1. Help these girls, keep the mysterious, and do whatever you think is right. Chew on that awhile.
- chew on that awhile here means think about that awhile, right?

2. If I like a girl, I just dont go hit on her or anything like that, its rather frustrating.
- dont go hit on her means dont have the nerve to talk to her, right?

3. This may sounds really bad, but please dont take it personally.
- What does take it personally mean here?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd

Hi Steven

1. - right!

2. Nearly right. 'Hit on someone' means 'make a pass', 'attempt to score/pull' ... when you hit on someone, you make it clear to them that you are attracted to them.

It's not so much about nerves. You can talk to someone confidently without hitting on them.

3. Take it personally means 'get offended or upset'.

Brian
