I cannot understand the above bold phrase. I think 'the highest melting point of any metal' is correct rather than 'the higher melting point of any metal'. I wonder. Please give me a hand.

| You're right, since it's being compared to the melting points of all other metals you'd say it's the highest. |

| Although, you can also say 'which has a higher melting point than any other metal.' For any other metal you can think of, tungsten's melting point will be higher! (Which makes it the highest of course.) |
