What does "catalogue essay" mean?
2.(Ken Adam is the creator of Dr Strangelove's war room and of James Bond sets.)

1. I'm not sure about this one. Perhaps Sylvester's essay about catalogues? More likely, Sylvester wrote an exhaustive essay about something. What's the context?
2. A movie set is a place where part of a movie is filmed. It can be (or at least look like) an interior or an exterior location, built by the production company to look like a real or imaginary place. It is easier to control the sound and traffic on a mock-up of a New York street than the real New York street, and if it's well done, the audience can't tell the difference. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

"The catalogue essay" is in the following sentences.
"The book includes Sylvester's catalogue essay, as well as an interview, for an exhibition he curated of the film designs of his school friend Ken Adam."
Thank you. |

It must mean a piece / an article he wrote to go into the exhibit catalogue for the exhibition. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
