I like English more. But my English ability is not good.
Especially I'm not good at English conversation and listening.
I want to be a good English speaker.
But English is more and more difficult.
What can I do ?
I'm waiting for your advice. Bye. _________________ Hi, I'm Jennifer Yoon. It's good to see U ! |

Hi Jennifer,
Unfortunately, there are no easy answers beyond practicing as much as you can. If there are few English speakers near you to practice with, use recorded materials. You can even find some on the web.
Look at some of the older messages in this forum. Some websites have been mentioned that are good for practicing listening skills. One of these messages from about two weeks ago was titled "How to imprve listening and writing skills," or something similar to that.
For speaking skills, you can always practice by saying your thoughts to yourself when you are alone. But I don't know of a good way to practice conversational skills without having someone to talk with. Perhaps you can find this on the internet, too. Also, you could try chat rooms. You don't get the speaking practice, of course, but you get the experience of having to think in English to respond to someone in the room. I believe that this website has a chat room.
Try not to get frustrated. It's difficult to learn another language, especially when it is so different from you native language. Keep practicing, though, and you will see that your skills are improving.
Also, feel free to post a question in here when something about English has you confused.
Welcome to the site, and Good Luck! |
