Dear experts,

I was wondering what the correct question word is to be used when you want to enquire about somebody's favourite football team or musical band. I checked on the Internet running a search in Google to check the occurrencies of both variants of the question--either with Who or with What?....to my surprise there are more occurrences of questions with WHO than there are with WHAT!!!!!...Which of the two versions is better, because obviously both are acceptable....and what is the logic behind that? Is it because we can perceive a team or a band as made up of people and the whole group is perceived as made up of individuals???
