Dear Helper,
He was caught in the rain and got wet all over.
He was caught in the rain and got wet all through.
Do the two sentences work in daily English?
Thanks for your explanation in advance.

A native speaker would understand the meaning, but most people would say it a little differently:
"He got caught in the rain and was soaked through."
"He was caught in the rain and got thoroughly wet." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
