Potatoes grow wide in Europe?
grow widely in Europe?
At first, I thought surely it should be"grow widly",
then I feel like "grow wide" is okay, too.
but again, "grow wide"can mean something getting wide
and may not mean "throughout many countries"
grow wide in Euope-> wide here is adjective, but can it be used meaning as here and there, adverb?
grow widely in Europe-> I understood 'grow'here is intransitive
widely is connected to th location.
can I use both for the same meaning?
can it be natural without any difference in meaning?
if it is, let's say it's exam and I have to choose only one correct sentence,
only "grow widely"is right?
Thanks in advance. |
