Hi, teachers.
What does the below sentense mean?
"For this week's meeting a record 30 signed up, though only about 15 actually appeared."
And, does the underlined part mean that '30 people already reserved'?
Please help me.
Sincerely |

It means that 30 people said they would come, but only 15 actually came. The number 30 is a record, the highest number of people ever to promise to come. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
