When I want to ask who the actors are in a movie,
do I say "Who's in it?"
or "Who're in it?"
My hunch is "Who're in it" to be grammatically correct.
But I think "Who's in it" sounds more natural...
Thanks! |

Most people would say, "Who's in it?" The answer could be one or more people -- nearly all movies have more than one -- but the question is in the singular.
Probably someone can tell us why. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
