Hi,

I'd like to know if this sentence is correct, I mean both grammatically and semantically correct. What does it mean? Could you paraphrase it? Also, does it sound natural to the ears of native English speakers? If not, what is the best way to express the same idea? Thank you very much.

I cannot sleep until 11 o'clock.

Leslie

No, sorry, but it doesn't sound like a spontaneous comment by a native speaker.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to convey with the sentence, but you might say any of the following:

"I can never get to sleep earlier than 11:00."

"Last night I couldn't get to sleep until 11:00."

"I can't sleep until 11:00. I have to get up early for an appointment."
