It's the group of friends who you get along with.
If you are friends with people who don't really know
how to speak English,
the speed of learning English would be very slow.
However, when you are with English speakers all the time,
you'll get to learn the language in a very fast speed.
So IF you EVER go abroad to study,
cling on to those who speaks fluent English. Cool

Are you with me??

Hello Miriam 1984 -

I really agree with you....especially the part about studying abroad.

BUT...(ah, there's always a but)...I wouldn't say "forget about school"...

go to school, study.....AND practice listening/speaking as often as possible.

A really big plus would be to have some fun while you are at it!!

So, have fun....Philo :)

True - the more you practice the better you will become. Definitely have fun - you will learn better this way as well.

Good luck,

Corey

Hello evesmile329 -

Getting started seems to be the most difficult thing when you need to write something.

It might help if you just write one or two words for each idea you have first...... don't worry too much about it......just start writing without thinking about sentences, grammar, paragraphs, etc.

Then you can go back and add a few words to start to make sentences and putting them in the order you want.

If you do this three or four times, working quickly each time........the hard part is done.

Now you have something to work with and you can take your time to make complete sentences, check spelling, grammar, etc.

To help improve your writing..........read read and more read!
The more you read...the better your writing will get. Philo:)
