No, ma'am, I don't think you have to capitalize. We never see "no, sir" or "yes, sir" capitalized, even if it is a soldier addressing an officer. I don't think you would be wrong to capitalize it, but I think it's okay to leave it lower case, too.
Anyone else have a thought about this?
