"If you see things through your camera lens that distract from what you are trying to say, get rid of them."
I've read this sentence. However, as far as I know, 'distract' is a transitive verb, so I think "that distract your attention from" or "that distract yourself from" is a right expression. What do you think about that? 'Distract' can be used an intransitive verb? |

Yes, distract is a transitive verb. I would change the expression to 'that distract you from'. _________________ Mary W. Ng
